The matte finish on the case gives the watch anti-reflective qualities when on daylight missions.The special Gladiator Hands are designed for much better visibility under low light conditions, either underwater or on night operations. The bezel insert is equipped with full 60 individual minute markers, this was originally designed so that military frogmen would be able to synchronize perfectly on dangerous covert missions.
